Short Description
A buffered 9.6% hydrofluoric acid gel designed to properly prepare fractured porcelain and ceramic surfaces prior to bonding. Its thixotropic consistency ensures it stays exactly where placed without slumping, and it washes away easily without staining the restoration.

PULPDENT Porcelain Etch Gel is a specially formulated 9.6% hydrofluoric acid (HF) gel intended for the intraoral or extraoral etching of porcelain, ceramic, and composite surfaces. By creating optimal micro-mechanical retention on the restoration surface within just one minute, it significantly enhances the bond strength between the ceramic and the subsequent silane and bonding resin layer.
Clinical Key Features:
Thixotropic Consistency: The highly controlled gel stays precisely where placed without migrating onto adjacent soft tissues or exposed dentin, ensuring accurate application and improved patient safety.
Buffered & Non-Staining: The advanced buffered formula guarantees it will not stain or discolor ceramics, composites, or resin cements. It rinses off completely and easily with an air/water syringe.
Time-Efficient: Achieves the ideal surface topography for adhesive bonding in a rapid 1-minute application time, optimizing chairside workflow for porcelain repairs.
Precise Delivery: Packaged in a convenient 1.2 mL syringe and paired with fine applicator tips, allowing for accurate, targeted dispensing even in restricted intraoral areas.
Clinical Precaution: Due to the active 9.6% HF concentration, the use of a rubber dam or a light-cured gingival barrier (such as PULPDENT Kool-Dam) is strictly required to protect surrounding soft tissues during intraoral procedures.
